Day 8 & 9: Lobuche Base Camp

Lobuche Base Camp:

• Elevation:  16,142 ft
• Oxygen level: 56%

With the oxygen levels getting really thin it feels like there is constantly a full size German Shepard sitting on my chest.  Where hikes may not sound impressive in length or elevation increase the lack of oxygen makes everything seem much harder.  Altitude sickness becomes more common at this point and I do have medication if needed.  Luckily the slow ascent is allowing me to adjust. 

I'm spending two days here to adjust before moving to Everest Base Camp.
